2) Take at least one survey. Surveys available are candidate preferences for Gogebic County Michigan and/or Iron County Wisconsin. Nether Members or Administrators will know your choices. Results are group results only. If you are unfamiliar with some of the candidates, just do the best you can. You can come back anytime and take another survey. Surveys will change with time. Also, if you want to include other races or individuals running in Gogebic or Iron (WI) County, please give feedback Scroll down to the end of this page.
3) Show up at the Point of Delivery which will be at the regular weekly protests at the Ironwood Veteran Memorial Corner, near the Post office, Saturdays at noon to 1 PM, through May 15. I might not be at all protests.

Mission Statement
Northern Indivisible is a grassroots organization of local citizens whose mission is to protect and preserve the democratic institutions of Michigan, Wisconsin and the United States of America including, but not limited to, the Constitution of the United States, the rule of law, due process and historic norms of government behavior
Our principles include:

Our objectives include:
*Ensure our elected officials represent us, the people, and not special interests.
*Ensure our state and national legislative branches exercise constitutional powers.
*Prevent administrative overreach at the federal level.
*Protect vulnerable groups such as veterans. the disabled, and the impoverished.
*Promote civic engagement and the right to petition the government.

Friends, Neighbors, Patriots, Activists,
The Northern Indivisible group organized a successful NO KINGS Rally, Saturday, June 14th, at Ironwood’s Depot Park. Over 400 attended expressing their concerns at the overreach, lawlessness, corruption, cruelty, and chaos of the Trump administration.
The rally started with the Pledge of Allegiance, expressing our love of our great country. Dozens of veterans present were recognized for their service. The local Women’s March group performed street theater to bring levity and humor during these trying times.
Northern Indivisible organizers believe it’s important to be clear not only on what our objections to the lawlessness of the administration, but also what policies we believe in and what our nations priorities should be.
Trump has now brought us into the war between Iran and Israel. He did so illegally, as the U.S. Constitution gives the Congress the authority to wage war. He pulled our country out of the nuclear pact that limited Iran’s nuclear capabilities, falsely suggested that he could negotiate with the Iranian regime, then launched bombs and missiles without consulting with Congress.
The NO KINGs protesters objected to many administration actions including:
Disappearing people off the street without due process
Defiance of court orders, vilification of the judiciary including calling for the impeachment of judges
Violent rhetoric which has resulted in in political violence
Personal enrichment and grift of Trump and his family, (crypto, phone, bibles, hotel deals, etc, etc)
The Big Ugly Budget Bill that will remove millions from essential programs including:
Reducing billions from Medicaid which will removing millions from healthcare benefits
Tax cuts that mostly benefit the wealthiest billionairs
Adding trillions to the national debt
Eliminating funding for the Corporation of Pubilc Broadcasting
Reducing funding for the SNAP food security program
Elimination of USAID programs that have strengthened our global relations
Cabinet secretaries that are wholly unqualified sycophants
RFK Jr. who has fired the entire vaccine advisory panel
Linda McMahon who plans to close the Department of Education
Pete Hegseth who’s chaotic lack of experience will damage the defense department
Pam Bondi who threatens legislator and judges with arrest and imprisonment
Principles Northern Indivisible organizers believe in:
Veterans have earned their benefits and should not be diminished
Diversity Equity and Inclusion make our nation stronger
Cooperation and consultation with other democracies around the world
Support for Ukraine’s war with Putin
Ending the genocide of the Palestinian people, getting aid to Gaza
Healthcare is a human right
Voting rights are enshrined in the Constitution and should not be abridged.
Northern Indivisible organizers will plan rallies every few months. We’ll try to keep our community focused on efforts to make for a more perfect union. Our activisim will continue to increase until and after the midterm elections.
Pop up protests will be held every Saturday at the Ironwood Post Office at noon
Focus Groups will be convened on specific topics such as: LGBTQ Rights, Veterans Benefits, Voting Rights, and others.
